COTA responsibilities include therapy screening (as applicable per State regulation), daily treatment sessions working/communicating with the OT and their established Plan of Care. Physical demands of the position require good physical and mental health status as the position requires walking/standing most of the day, transferring, and pushing residents and equipment. Daily documentation is done electronically via Optima Healthcare Solutions (formally Rehab Optima) with a minimum weekly productivity of 90%.
This position requires an associate degree of Science in Occupational Therapy, State License for the state in which services are being provided and CPR. Employee must be dependable and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the residents served.
